DOT testing is serious business, and failing or refusing to take a DOT test while working for a company under the (DOT) can cause serious problems and removal from safety-sensitive duties. A DOT SAP is charged with getting the employee back to work as soon as possible. If you’ve failed a DOT test, you must be removed from the safety-sensitive position as mandated by the DOT and immediately call SAP NEAR ME at 760-702-2293 as soon as possible. A worker that goes through DOT SAP NEAR ME can return to their Safety Sensitive position in as little as 7-10 days. They must first schedule an evaluation by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and complete all education or treatment requirements. Once complete, the worker must complete a return to duty DOT test by their current or prospective employer with negative results.
